Hosea 4:6 says,
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
“Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also reject you as my priests;
because you have ignored the law of your God,
I also will ignore your children.
Many believers have lost their identity and are trying to look like the world. Yet, this world’s system has no idea of who they are, because they base truth off of their emotions, instead of the written word of God. They’re looking for excitement that can only be found in the presence of God. So why do believers try to follow them? In lifestyle? In music? Why would we follow them? Because they taunt us? Aren’t they the ones vomiting over toilets, feeling sick in the morning, losing their memory, and having puffy eyes from smoking too much pot? Aren’t they the one’s slurring words, and looking crazy from hangovers? What is there to envy about them! Can you tell me what’s to envy? Their eternal destination doesn’t look good, and I pray they wake up, before it’s too late.
I love God, and I am from the tribe of Judah. My creativity and thrill in life come from the presence of God. When I see the powerful waterfalls, the sunrise, and sunsets and contemplate the creator who made them nature then my soul is flooded with joy. When I collaborate with other artists in giving God praise it is better than any drug and doesn’t have any harmful side-effects. I feel more energized in the morning, and want to give more. A good time is when my spiritual family is together when children have a safe place to live. A good time is a faithful marriage and a faithful life to God. A good time is being in God’s presence, and hearing his voice of righteous instructions.
I plead that you stand with me against the devil, and his lies of indulging the flesh, getting high, getting drunk, and being intoxicated. Those things end in death, but being filled with the Spirit gives life forevermore. When a person is filled with the Spirit they create an environment of life, joy, and peace for generations to come.
