Satan’s objective is to get us to lose our head, heart, and hallelujah! He wants our family, faith, joy, promise, and peace. His objective is to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus Christ came to give us life and life to its fullest! (John 10:10)

Satan will often attack us in our identity as he did Jesus “ If you are the son of God, turn these stones to bread ” and he says to us, “ If you are a child of God, why are you suffering? God doesn’t love you…” The devil tempts us to go for shortcuts, and fleeting pleasure instead of costly eternal rewards.

God knows our suffering only makes us stronger, and Jesus resurrection from the grave was proof of God’s love for us! The devil wants us to be weak-willed , weak-minded, and weak-hearted so he can exploit us! Yet , when our focus is on Jesus we are resilient , and through Christ we are mighty warriors!

We must arm ourselves for spiritual warfare with the word of God. The time of testing will come for all of us. What we practice in private will be revealed on the battlefield of life. Everything hidden in the dark will come to the light.

David meditated on the words of God day and night. He knew the presence of God was key to winning battles. He inquired of God, and obeyed without hesitation. He quieted his soul to hear from the Lord. But when he didn’t do that he lost battles.

In order for us to win battles against lust, pride, jealously, and addictions, we must spend our time in the presence of God. We must fall on our knees in the presence of God in order to stand our ground in the face of evil.

Lord may my heart, mind, and soul forever dwell in your presence in order to receive your promises. AMEN!
