On the low end think $300 to kick it off and $100 for each edited minute. It takes a minimum of 2 hours to edit one minute of a highly produced video. You also need to factor in the cost of transportation, props, food, and other things associated with your video. Like with many things it’s the scope of the project.
Always get a quote from your videographer before starting, and have a clear understanding of where you want to go by writing a treatment of the film before running off and shooting too much. Your chance of hitting a target you can’t see is low, very, very, low. So write down your vision and that will greatly help determine the cost and if it’s something you can do sucessfuly.
