Today’s Readings

Summary: We must be careful how we speak to and about one another ESPECIALLY in church. The church is a place of life, but when members gossip, lie and become hypocritical judges it turns the environment into a dysfunctional unproductive place. God’s desire is that we work in harmony,  be fruitful, multiply, and that happens with the “ fruit of our lips”(Proverbs 18:20). Faithful family and friends will always speak God’s words faithfully, and build each person up according to their needs as Ephesians 4:29 instructs us to do. “ Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29 (NIV)
