“One plants, another waters, but God gives the growth.” Inspired by this timeless truth, we’re setting out on a journey that echoes a path plowed long ago—250 years ago, in fact, when Juan Bautista de Anza led settlers from Arizona to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Just as they traveled seeking a new life, we’re retracing those steps, but this time with a mission to share the gospel as we go. It feels almost prophetic: like the ground has already been prepared for us. Someone else plowed this route centuries ago, and now we can plant seeds of faith along the same trail.
Much like how old comic book heroes got modern makeovers, we’re taking a historic journey and bringing it into today’s context. The tools and the message have evolved, but the foundation remains. So as we head west, we’re building on what’s been laid before us and trusting God to give the growth.
