Course Outline:
Week 1 ( Nov 21st): The Video Production Process
We'll overview pre-production, production, and post-production, camera operation, lighting, equipment, editing software, and some video language by making your own about me video similar to this: Still Beautiful.
Week 2 ( rescheduled for Dec 12th): Pre-Production
You will learn how to create a screenplay, storyboard, and shot list. This includes developing a plan for music videos, and documentaries. We'll also go over some legal things like talent releases, and property releases that protect you as a videographer or filmmaker.
Week 3: (January 2nd) Production
You will learn lighting techniques, production equipment, camera techniques, best camera settings, different recording formats, how to capture crystal clear audio, and some directing tips.
Week 4: ( January 9th) Post-Production
You will learn video editing, multi-cam editing, how to sync audio, color correct, color grade, and export video to different platforms like Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and DVD.
